I'd probably stay at Margaritaville man. It's in Bossier City and is right next to the Boardwalk which is a really impressive place. All kinds of restaurants, movie theatre, outlet stores, Bass Pro Shop, etc.. And your right on the Red River so it's a pretty cool view. I'd book a room at Margaritaville ASAP man. I promise you you'll enjoy it. The cocktail waitresses in the casino are A1 as well.

You can probably get cheap tickets on game day and sit anywhere you want. It's not going to be full. Same as most of these minor bowls.

Stay in a casino hotel, decent food, do a little gambling, etc. Margaritaville or Harrahs in Bossier City. Can't go wrong with either.

If you cannot get a casino hotel then find something in Bossier City. There are places around Louisiana Downs with limited gambling nearby. Avoid staying in Shreveport unless the hotel is either in downtown or in Southeastern Shreveport. The Pines Road area is the last resort. Stay away from anything near the airport.

Eldorado has a great bar and a pretty damned good buffet. Rooms are pretty good.
