In case you didn't notice we also have a shite ton of injuries. If we had played last week the would've gotten LSU with no LF7 and 2 online out. Hopefully 11/19 we'all have all starters healthy as well.

Game is in evening - Florida wins.

When's the last time we've lost a day game? I love night games as much as the next LSU fan, but this stigma that we're indestructible at vaunted Tiger Stadium at night is a myth as shown by Arkansas and Mississippi State dragging their balls over us.

LSU plays in Gainsville next two years - Florida wins.

And who wins since Florida plays in BR for two years straight?

Florida will be much healthier - Florida wins.

And we don't? Our running back says hey.

I'm not 'ing all over the place, but it's not like LSU is getting fricked that bad in this ordeal. There really is no clear winner.

Gotta play the game and this is the only option that's left. The game has to be played. So when we win we can say FL really is puss if they come get beat here. After all the maneuvering, using a storm for advantage then still lose would just prove our point.

I can not understand how so many LSU fans are pretending like this is a win, unless they are just trying to find any way to celebrate. LSU plays 3 SEC games in a 15 day span and has to play in the Swamp for the next two years. Plus the game isn't even a night game. LSU got the game at home - LSU win. Game is in evening - Florida wins. LSU plays in Gainsville next two years - Florida wins. Florida will be much healthier - Florida wins. LSU still plays on Thanksgiving - A&M wins. How did we win again? Even if you look at the economic point, LSU was already having a home game against USA. So maybe they get a small bump in local economy for that, but we lose the home game next year. So we still lose out over the span of the deal we lose money any ways. If the SEC was threatening to not allow either team into the SECCG if they did not play this game than LSU had a lot more leverage than Florida, seeing as how Florida was in a much better spot to make the game. Plus Foley is throwing daggers at LSU, the SEC isn't helping any, and we still look like the bad guys here. We lost from a competitive standpoint, from a financial standpoint, and from a PR standpoint. Other LSU fans can beat their chest and post stupid GIFS, but I think we still got screwed in this deal.

You are much more intelligent than most of your L6U brethren

So neither feel like it's a true win.

LSU won the short term battle, but is that a win?

Uf looks to have won the long term battle, but what matters is the here and now. Not to mention a new rule was put in place.

Sounds like neither won TBH.

In reality it sounds like a true agreement where neither feel they won 100%.

I have nothing to add to this thread, other than I think it is an important one for LSU fans to read. I am posting on it, just to help keep it from being buried. I am very relieved to see some LSU fans have the ability to see things for how they really are.

Hey, hey!

You don't want to suggest something like that without objective proof.

Okay, the second half of the UT game.

Point taken.

Look for Florida to be nudging Miss. State for relevance in the future.

UF will play LSU with their starting qb, which I think we all agree increases their chances of winning, even on the road. This was bad news for UT. It increases UF's chances of winning the east. After UT falls on Saturday, guess who will be in the drivers seat in the east. UT's only real hope will be UGA beating UF. LSU, gains a home game in a rebuilding year, one where they already fired a coach. Do you think going to Gainesville two years in a row will help attract a good coach? I don't. UF played LSU like a fiddle.

Nope. UF played Sankey like a fiddle. LSU literally had no power to force Florida to do anything last week. Only Sankey could have forced the issue and didn't. Alleva did what he could by not caving in and giving up a home game this year. Foley acting butthurt is the beauty of it all. He's still selling the con. Sankey still doesn't know what a chump he is.
