They didnt want to play last week with all their injuries. They got what they wanted and LSU loses a home game next year. LSU got screwed, plain and simple.

How so? Is this not the second year in a row where LSU will have 5 SEC home games?

Some of them just aren't smart enough to understand what has happened. UF in a rebuilding year. This gives UF 2 home games vs LSU 2 years in a row when they have the team they want on the field.
Alleva totally blew this deal. LSU won the battle I guess but they certainly lost the wars in 2017 and 2018. This was a very bad deal in the long run for LSU. UF should be pretty happy with the entire deal.

With total respect for all that had to experience the aftermath of the Hurricane..in all the States Involved, the game could have, and should have been played the next day or so in Florida

It was a great compromise.

Most LSU fans got it all along. Foley and UF did everything in their power to avoid playing LSU last weekend when they easily could have played the game on Sunday or Monday in Gainesville.
Sankey was a pussy and provided no leadership to make the game get played last weekend like every single other game in FL, SC, and NC got played.
LSU, in the end, got screwed. The vast majority of us fully understand this.

I can not understand how so many LSU fans are pretending like this is a win, unless they are just trying to find any way to celebrate.
LSU plays 3 SEC games in a 15 day span and has to play in the Swamp for the next two years. Plus the game isn't even a night game.
LSU got the game at home - LSU win.
Game is in evening - Florida wins.
LSU plays in Gainsville next two years - Florida wins.
Florida will be much healthier - Florida wins.
LSU still plays on Thanksgiving - A&M wins.
How did we win again? Even if you look at the economic point, LSU was already having a home game against USA. So maybe they get a small bump in local economy for that, but we lose the home game next year. So we still lose out over the span of the deal we lose money any ways.
If the SEC was threatening to not allow either team into the SECCG if they did not play this game than LSU had a lot more leverage than Florida, seeing as how Florida was in a much better spot to make the game.
Plus Foley is throwing daggers at LSU, the SEC isn't helping any, and we still look like the bad guys here. We lost from a competitive standpoint, from a financial standpoint, and from a PR standpoint.
Other LSU fans can beat their chest and post stupid GIFS, but I think we still got screwed in this deal.

Only win will be on the 19th on the field with who ever is playing. FL could lose players, LSU can lose players but you still have to win. I like our chances, then it's on to the next win.
