I seriously don't understand this. Your program will be better off without him!

A head coach's first responsibility is to lead. After this incident, how can anyone in Arkansas have faith in his ability to lead? The man has no character!

Defense was ranked in the top 25. We held Trent Richardson, Isaih Crowell, and Spencer Ware under 100 yards. That was with 4 starting freshmen.

Special team coverage has always been really good and had a top 5 average, excluding Joe Adams play.

The running game is looking a lot better with Tiny Richardson at left tackle, and moving Dallas Thomas to guard.

You could be right. It completely possible, but there is a better chance for UT to go 9-3 instead of 6-6.

People underestimate how important Justin Hunter was to the offense. Darick Rogers is very good, but he isn't a first rounder like Hunter.

UTVols2618 is Dooley a good coach? From what I can tell most of you think he's horrible so what you're saying is that your players don't need a good coach to be exceptional but ours do. Makes sense.

I don't know. He has had two rebuilding jobs. He took over a 3-10 La Tech team and most knows what he took over at UT. Rebuilding is not easy, especially in the SEC.

What I do know is that he has a good eye for talent, and can recruit. Recruiting will get a lot better if UT starts winning again.

Recruiting is the most important thing in football. Petrino is a much better pure coach than Les Miles, but Petrino has never came close to creating teams like Miles's has. Great talent can make an average coach look great.

Tennessee wins 8 games last year with Bray and Hunter. Hunter is a top 10 pick when healthy.

Please tell me which three games they would have been a factor in...

We lost to USCjr 14-3 with a freshmen quarterback.

We lost to UGA by 8.

We lost to UF by 10.

We definitely would have beaten UK because the players would have had something to play for.

So in other words, you are saying Tennessee was the best team in the East last year...

If UT isn't this year, then the job will be much more appealing than when Dooley took over. Its a top 10 job and the roster is stocked so if Dooley isn't the guy, it shouldn't be much longer.

No, we weren't. Games more than likely would have went differently though. Only LSU and Bama would have a corner for Hunter, and Hunter has already owned Mattheiu before.

Ut was a passing team last year, not many teams would be good when you lose your starting qb and best reciever.

So now UT was really the third best team in the SEC last year...

UF, USCjr, and UGA all had a more talented and complete team than Tennessee, but UF had a weak secondary, USCjr's offense did not do well at all against UT, and UGA didn't play that good against UT either.

It would have been hard for those teams to stop Hunter. Hunter was the best reciever in the SEC last year before he got hurt. A coach that has coached both Hunter and Moss said Hunter is the best reciever he has seen since Moss. Scouts laugh when people ask who is better between Darick and Hunter, and Darick was an All-SEC reciever.

He's had two rebuilding jobs. He may be as bad as you think he has, but he has not been given a fair chance yet. You can't win playing over 40 freshmen in the SEC in 2 year.

That was meant for the guy who just recently lost his HC. Sorry I didn't post the reply to him specifically. It's got something to do with the 97 posts next to my name.
