I've been saying it for years, but I think he coaches another 3-5 years, retires and takes a position in athletic department

Absolutely. The next AD. And with his mentor in the office right down the hall, how can Kirby Smart fail?

Notice he didn't say I love Alabama or I am happy here, just that he is too old.

They'll have to carry him out of Tuscaloosa in a pine box. Oh, wait a minute...

So he avoided the question. They are working a money deal for Bama to match then Bama will match it.

It's so true. The best thing he can ever do is say nothing because it doesn't give credibility to any of the rumors.

We couldn't care less if he loved Baton Rouge more and was happier there.

He's not the god of college coaches' agents for nothing. The man earns every penny of his money.

Heard him speak in Nashville a couple of months ago. Fascinating to hear about him getting his start with his Vol roots. Bama fan starts to ask about Saban going back to the NFL and Sexton says no about three times before the fan could finish the question.

Its personal at this point.

If he and his wife would rather finish and retire at in Bama then move. He stays.

If he feels he has another one in him AND he and his wife prefer to wind er down in Austin - he will go.

I hate the Longhorns - but Austin is a really really cool city. Its about personal family stuff. That's all. and money. and if he has another run. Easy conference. Statue in Austin.

I doubt it. Give it 10%. But if the fam. wants to be in Austin Texas your fricked. Nothing to do with anything else.

Other thing in Bama's court - UT are prick arrogant assholes and Saban will tell the biggest Big Cigar to shove it in his arse. Texas may not be able to get the money under those terms.

That's the deal. Talk about it freely.
