Frick that! If he thinks it's a triangle, and he's winning like this, it's a triangle!

I want him to STAY for 2/3 more years because I freaking love the annual Miles/Saban angle.
I also want him to go so I can watch the meltdown.
In complete honesty, I want BOTH.

Complete humility.
Saban hates change and has no ego.
He never looks for a challenge.
He'd never leave Tuscaloosa.
Just ask him, he'll tell you.
To be fair, the challenge is to be the greatest coach in Alabama and CFB history which is something he could conceivably accomplish here. Say we win this year, get another one in the next 5 years, get 4 more SEC titles, and average 10.5 wins a season (including bowl games) over the next 8 years. He is absolutely in the discussion for GOAT. Any more than that and he might be the leader.

Yea I mean i'd want him gone if I were a fan of any other team in the conference. Makes sense.

That's fair.
But it reads like a Harlequin romance, not like a Saban bio.

Impossible. He has already signed with UTx hasn't he?

Absolutely. They came after him in January, took 8 months for the carrier pigeon with the contract for him to sign to find Tuscaloosa.

A fan in attendance lets Saban know that he hasn't aged at all. Says he's "handsome as ever."

Gotta love Harvey.

I've been saying it for years, but I think he coaches another 3-5 years, retires and takes a position in athletic department

He's got more money than he could ever spend, who could blame him? I would if I were in his situation Granted, I don't have the drive and the passion to coach like he does. He'd be bored as shite if he retired IMO.

But did he say, "I will not be the coach at Texas."?

why bother posting Saban quotes about not leaving?

Because there are no quotes to post about him leaving?

Can see the time frame, but I think he gets a job with ESPN or something else. I don't see him staying at Bama postcoaching. Could see him doing something in his home state though. I truly think he's gotten to the age that he wants to give back some and Nick's Kid's is a big part and I could see him doing more work in that kind of thing.
