For Ole Miss it was a great season. Maybe not for LSU because they are use to it. Ole Miss isn't use to beating Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miss. State, aTm in the same season. Let em enjoy it. With the way Ole Miss fans have seen losing season after losing season, what is wrong with seeing some success for the program for a change?

Hell....it's been nice not seeing both Ole Miss and State at the bottom of the SEC. The past few years have brought life back into that rivalry.

True that and now Southern Miss is coming back. In such a small state it's unreal. In fact has this ever happened before?

I can't remember. I think the Egg Bowl in 2014 was the first time both teams were ranked since 1999 or something like that.

Yeah but not just that, USM has a good coach now and they are coming back. Don't remember all 3 teams doing this in a single year.

I remember chatting with Ole Miss fans 5-6 years ago and I'd get depressed because they were so deflated. A constant theme seemed to be that the game has changed too much for Ole Miss to compete today. I didn't believe it then and I'm sure they don't today.

Your blind optimism is cute. I love how you never get tired of being wrong.

Which I found very interesting since just 3 weeks earlier you were making a dishonest argument how in the regular season that Les was basically Saban's equal. You went out of your way to not include the career defining 21-0 loss. You did this two years in a row and then disappeared after being proven a moronic fraud.

Too bad your school's long history of racism will never let all Ole Miss achieve any real sustained success

Ole Miss should feel good, it's been a great build up the last 4-5 years in both major sports.

Think about this.........

Football & Basketball Records

2009 - 9-4 (massive disappointment) / 24-11 (NIT)
2010 - 4-8 / 20-14 (NIT)
2011 - 2-10 / 20-13 (NIT)

Last 2 years
2014 - 9-4 (NY6) / 21-13 (NCAAT)
2015 - 10-3 (NY6) / 10-3 (new arena)

Here is a comparison and reality check for ya.

Ole Miss loses 3 games and has one of their best seasons in decades with a Jr & Sr laden team and Ole Miss fans think they are on top of the world.

LSU loses 3 games in the same season and fans are pissed off even with a team full of freshmen and sophomores.

By the way, look up from your #2 ranking position in recruiting and sniff that Tiger's arse which is in your face.

Its about the here and now. Most teams have experienced periods of success. I for one don't care who won what 50 years ago. Ole miss is a program on the rise. Bama (football) is the standard. LSU is right there just needs a little more to get back to the top. Its good to have more good teams in SEC. No matter the sport. It makes more games worth watching.
