This doesn't seem like it would be anywhere close to as embarrassing as the UF football game.

Of course you do. I'd be surprised if you didn't.

Don't be. State doesnt have the pitching to hang with LSU. Might score a few runs, but this isn't our year.

We're somewhere between the 12th and 15th best team in the country. LSU is somewhere between the 1st and 2nd.

I sure hope that the team isn't as weak minded as you! If you don't think that there is as much pressure on State as Lsu then you are crazy! States players want the CWS just as much as Lsu . Both teams will be ready!

Probably nothing embarrasses you if your baseball team didn't.

What a pointless thing to say. I would hope the team that plays the game all season long would always be stronger minded than me, the fan watching from the couch, whose emotion has no bearing on the game whatsoever. Who the hell cares if fans are mentally tough or not?

Super Regionals are always iffy no matter where and how. There is clearly one team that is better than the other this year but we only have to win 2 of 6 games against LSU this year. We should be loose as we are playing with house money. We just need a couple of your pitchers to have bad outings and bunch our hits together and we can win this thing easy. Couple bad outings and we could be 2 and q while giving up 22 runs.

If you put a gun to my head and made me bet all my money on one team or the other I would pick LSU. However I would not be shocked at all to see State win. I love being good in baseball again! Southern Miss to the House!

I'm not sure which team would be better, if State was at full strength. But missing half our pitchers makes us handicapped. We will need lots of EB's to have a chance.

At full strength, it's probably Oregon State, LSU, MSU as the best clubs in the country. Pretty confident saying that. Damn shame that this season is likely not going to go much further due to our lack of pitching. Especially considering that this is probably the best hitting team we've had in a LONG time.

You are a wise man. I now know there is at least one lsu fan that knows what happened about that game just made lsu look like a bunch of whining pussies.
