You know that is not true Duncan. It's starting to look like Auburn could potentially slide into the deep abyss that is irrelevancy. Who knows when Auburn will be back. As a lifelong MSU fan, I empathize.

What evidence do you have of that? You're grinding AU awfully hard today for some reason.

AU hasn't lived in the "abyss that is irrelevancy" since Pat Dye got on campus. They've had up years, down years, and in between years, but they've never had any sustained period of down or in between. They usually don't stay down long.

When has that ever happened at Auburn? There's way too much money and interest in that program to ever let that happen.
I'm sure you all thought the same shite in 1992, 1998, 2008, and 2012 too.

I guess he really believes it? Miss State is going to magically supplant Auburn in the SEC West as we wither away into obscurity.

This thread is a response troll thread but let's be real here guys... it's more likely that we lose 5 games than win 10

No sense in acting like we are above being in contention for last place again

Considering how a few years ago, I would have been happy if State just made it to a bowl game and compare that to the past few years is an improvement. Will Dan keep it up, I don't think so. He has some dumb play calling to say the least.

But but we won't sink to MSU historical levels either. We will reset and be good again. It's what we do.

Did i just rustle Auburn so much that and Alabama fan came to the rescue? Is that unprecedented?

Look forward to the State/Auburn game this year. It's going to be a great game, as usual.

If there is such a thing as rational SEC football fans, we're about as level headed about our team as any fan base in the country this year. I don't see anyone in the AU family make any hard sell predictions about being good or bad this year. I think most of us haven't the foggiest clue how our team will be this year.

This tRant, you can't be rational here.

I also think that AU is being quiet this year after last season. I do know that after the 2010 season, everyone that I know in AL, was all about how Auburn was back on top and that they will stay there. Those fans were deadly serious too.

This is a fairy tail you created. Everyone Auburn fan understood what we lost after 2010. Most were hoping for a couple of 8 to 9 win seasons in 2011 and 2012. Ironically, most Auburn fans believed with the recruiting we had done we would be contending again in 2013 when we got uga and bama at home.
