Actually, Bama didn't have an extra week to prepare. LSU got an extra week of practice( for the SECCG), Bama was not allowed to practice nor was any non championship game team allowed to practice. plus LSU got to play an extra game, giving them more experience. Both teams after the SECCG had the exact same amount of practice time.

well alabama was actually really good last year. Lsu needed that week. Alabama needs 4 days to prepare for ND

LSU complained because our reward for beating Bama in T'town was to play another game against a top 10 team in Georgia while Bama got to rest. if this had happened to the gumps, we would've never heard the end of it. That being said, our fans need to give the whole Bama gets better treatment thing a rest. It's over, deal.

Most of the time the team that has the extra week usually gets destroyed in the BCSCG because they are that much more rusty by the time the game comes around. Personally I wouldn't want the extra week.
