Why? Because this group said something you don't like? You want to waive your little religious flag around and say things like 'frick atheists?' What if I said the opposite? Now that would be a tragedy, right?

Supreme Court Decision, LEMON V. KURTZMAN, 1971, upheld the constitutionality of chaplaincy.

It's bigger than that. Same group asked UGAs chaplin to step down and is after Richt for "using his position to raise money for the FCA" and "impose Christian beliefs on his players". Article in the AJC and Online Athens today.

Only if you were referring to Mohammad would an actually tragedy come to exist.

What's ironic about your statement is that Mississippi may be the only state with more religious zealots per capita then Arkansas.

Eh, I'm an atheist but I don't see what the big deal is. There are bigger fish to fry than having a chaplain on campus. Like evangelists using non-profit status to pay for mansions and private jets to vacation all over the world.

I am a Christian and I agree with you 100%. If they want true separation of church and state stop the tax deduction for religious donations.

ETA: atheist have the right to believe what they choose. If I am wrong, after death I get the same fate as an atheist. If they are wrong, they go to hell.
