Its the first week of rankings and they mean nothing. After this week AL or LSU will not be in the running any longer- the loser can win out but will not make the final four

So a one loss Alabama (if they were to win) will get in the playoffs. But a one loss LSU, with a better schedule, and a better loss would be locked out?

That's the only issue I have with Alabama being in the top 4 already.

They would have avoided a lot of criticism doing so.

With only one season and one week of data to go by, the thing that is most apparent about the committee is their intent to be different. Don't try to make sense of it and don't buy in to their weekly excuses that contradict their prior week's excuses for who is in and who is out. It is the most retarded process ever devised by man.

Bama fans have been so delusional that it actually bled over to the selection committee. Wow.

That doesn't make any sense as a response to what she said.

Ok.

I've never seen a more pathetic show than last night, there was no oh yay we're 2, it was complete bellyaching about bama. The worst case of loser mentality I've ever seen.

I have no clue why anyone would be baffled. Does any other team in college football have a better record vs. top 40 teams? For that matter, USC is the only other college football team that has even PLAYED as many top 30 teams as BAMA - and they are 2-3 vs. BAMA's 4-1.

BAMA deserves to be there.

I really don't see the problem here.. It's the first rankings of the year! Everything will change. I don't see how you could get mad that Bama is #4 as an LSU fan. It helps us either way. It's better to beat a 4 seed than a 6 or 7 seed and vise versa.

That is a lot of assumption with all of November + championship week left

Yea but it's true. If Lsu loses it will be too late in the season to recover from. Only way they find a way in after dropping this Bama game, winning out, and hoping they win the west and beat Fla. Otherwise they would be done.

How can a Bama mom tell when her daughter is on her period?

She can taste the blood on her son's dick.

I will thoroughly enjoy a closing stretch of the season where Bama is entirely irrelevant. I hope you guys enjoy your last few days in the sun. At least the committee gave you that on your way out.

I don't know about that, I would have thought that too except we have seen it happen multiple times in the last 10 years where November just goes crazy.

You're on a LSU message board so of course it seems like only LSU fans are upset about this. But it's pretty much a nationwide talking point right now. Articles on ESPN already about how Florida, ND and Iowa maybe more deserving. More articles will come out later today about it I'm sure.

And as for my opinion on it as a LSU fan. It doesn't fricking matter, it's November. It'll play itself out.

PS your post sounds like you might have some homo erotic desires hidden deep down. Are you a closet aggie fan?

How so? Even if Alabama wins the SEC title game, both will have wins against UF.

Yep and so would Florida or any other SEC team. Bama is the darling- USC and Notre D. used to get the love but for now with Saban it is Bama

That is just how it is
