Briles was a RB coach at Tech 2000-2002. That doesn't make him an "air raid" coach. His offense is of his own design and it was 20 years in the making. That offense is nothing like Leach's offense.

Mike Leach is a national treasure, just for his interviews alone.

I said "elements" were incorporated but his and Leaches offenses are all a derivative of Lavelle Edwards BYU offense just like every other "spread" passing game.None are very complex hence the reason for Big 12 QB's falling on their faces at the next level.

"Elements" are included in Alabama's offense too and they won the natty last year. They're a spread offense and they play with 3-4 WRs a lot. So what? They aren't an "air raid" offense.

Which conference QBs aren't falling on their faces at the next level cochise? I don't see any conferences churning out surefire NFL caliber QBs anywhere.

Lord you're thick"cochise".When did I EVER say they were AIR RAID OFFENSES!

I just they were "derived" from Lavelle Edwards BYU offense.
Which you can look up for yourself.

I didn't say you did, Mr Thick. You responded to my post that was in response to an LSU fan who thinks every offense in our league is an "air raid" offense, which isn't the case.

All P5 college football teams except maybe Ga Tech use a variation of the spread
It is not just a Big 12 thing
One of the 1st colleges to use the spread attack was actually a SEC school in Kentucky

I do not know either way because I was not there
Even people there have their own slant to the story
Fact remains is that an university like a SWT or UTSA might take a chance on him

Both Mumme and Leaches were from the Lavelle Edwards coaching tree.

Lavelle's coaching tree

I can tell you that the Big 12 sure as hell is.Mountain West had more starting NFL QB's last year.

Of course the SEC had the most.

You're dumb as hell. I didn't say "invented" anywhere in any of my posts. You're arguiging with a strawman of your own creation.
