Not impressed. Some QBs have good games and pad their stats on those types of opponents so at the end of the season that conference game they threw 20% in isn't as noticeable.

Well hell yeah I'd be pumped after last season! I would be worried as hell though if my HC said "it doesn't matter if we win or lose tomorrow." Sounds like pre-game damage control...

Considering the last time LSU and McNeese St played Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee managed a blistering 120 yards combined I'll consider an improvement on that a good start.

LSU has 1 heisman winner ever. I don't recall the fan base pushing a qb for heisman in a long time. LSU is grounded enough to realize that a game against McNeese is not make or break for the qb.
