Just a heads up: you are welcome to play this game but you need to know that you are doing it wrong. Recruits don't decide where they go: their handlers do. Handlers in MS are mostly aligned by now. The cities have historical ties and companies have ties. Depending on where you live you momma's or uncle's job is on the line. The town will give you hell etc. MS is a lot like Louisiana in that regard. Although to my knowledge MS has never gotten a governor to pardon an uncle of a recruit to get them to sign like LA did with KW.

ETA: wrong board, we have a recuiting board. When you're wrong it comes in Spades.

I certainly enjoy Oxford on a gameday. The talent OM has is undeniable.

Starkville has just as many handsome men as Oxford does.

I've partied at all 3 and their campuses are very different from each other. Starkville is just not my cup of tea, Oxford is historic and sultry.

Answer: Ole Miss

See, I was a .00143* recruit from Mississippi. I thought long and hard about which school could benefit me the most, and which school I'd have the biggest impact on.

Let me tell you, there are few more soul-crushing epiphanies than realizing that you suck so bad at football that even one of the Mississippi schools could do better. After a week-long crying jag and several suicide attempts, I decided to go the Vanderbilt and leave behind my football career.

I figured a lot of people would say that but I think with both being top 15 schools now they have plenty to offer top recruits in MS. I would want to stay in my home state personally

You say that because you are a Texan and you live by state pride. In Mississippi people expect the best and brightest to leave the state for college, so picking some out of state team is more realistic.

They've beaten you 4 of the last 5 years. They've also been bowling the last 4 years and will be again. Ole Miss has improved quickly but you're still only a few years removed from going 0fer in the SEC and 1-7 the year before that

I grew up in Mississippi, and now live in Texas. Now that I have been exposed to Aggies for a year, I now know why everyone hates you. DIAF.

Would it make sense if someone compared what A&M did before Sumlin? No. So why do you do the same when comparing other teams that have gone through significant coaching changes? Freeze has split with Mullin head to head, won more games in a shorter span, and has recruited significantly better. If Mullen can beat freeze at his house then he would have the edge, otherwise, both coaches have done similar jobs revamping lost programs.
