From a Bama standpoint, I agree. I'm not saying that I think he is the most accomplished coach out there. But Kirby knows the system that is currently in place as well as anyone. So I'd give him a shot to see if he can keep what Saban has built going.
But if he couldn't keep it going, I'd make Jim Harbaugh turn us down. Then I'd go after David Shaw if Shaw continues what he has done at Stanford up to this point. (I don't think there is another SEC coach I'd go after at this point in time)
