I wore garnet to the Miami@Clemson game in 2005
It was not a gamecock shirt though. Thankfully my parents talked me out of that

I always have a great time when I do that. I get a lot of aggression at first usually, but I'm a really unassuming person and I just talk to them for a bit and explain that I'm just a TN fan supporting my team away from home, and that I'm here to get wasted just like they are, and we usually both walk away happy.
had to defend one of my buddies before the LSU/UNC game in Atlanta a few years ago. we were watching the UT game at a bar in the CNN center before the LSU game. He had been wearing his UT shirt all day, and an LSU fan at the bar started talking shite to him. Somehow, in all of that, I was made out to be the a-hole for defending my buddy rooting for his team while watching them play at a bar. Some people are just assholes I guess. But, me personally, I just wouldn't want to be "that guy" wearing another team's gear while at a neutral game, especially if one of those teams is a rival of my school. Different strokes, I guess. If you're at the SEC tournament or championship game or whatever, that's a little different to me, though.

It can be fun. I just wanted to go a football game. Could I have left my LSU shirt at the rig, sure. But my buddy already had his Miss St shirt on so I followed suit. Every year I get a call with him saying this is the year.

Yeah, I had a UGA polo shirt that I wore exactly 4 times at UGA games when we went to visit our daughter when she was in school there. (UGA vs somebody other than Auburn).
On the day after her graduation it went to goodwill.

I got to bama games a couple times a year, and just wear gray or red. Not worth the looks or conversations I might have.

Borderline sig worthy there. Not for cleverness but it's just so disturbing. And it combines LSU...

see, i think that's alright. if you're paying the university money every semester for your daughter, you probably should show your support for her school of choice, at least while visiting her

I love watching college football on tv, but I have a hard time finding the enthusiasm to go and watch two other teams play each other in person. Maybe if it was free and someone else was driving lol.
The most random thing I've seen was an Ohio State fan at an Arkansas vs. Troy game. I almost always wear my Hog gear when I'm in other states on vacation or something though so I would probably wear it then too

Hell no.
That's for bama fans whose mamas didn't love them enough when they were growing up.

I don't know why but I'd love to go to a European football match with my Bama polo.

i'd do it, if nothing less, so your friends can find you on TV. an old colleague of mine wore his tennessee golf pullover to the british open several years back. easiest person of all time to find in the crowd

I went to the Georgia/ South Carolina game last year and wore a red/white/black checkered polo. No one knew who I was pulling for and I looked nice.
I'll probably go to the lsu/ole miss game this year and just rock some neutral colors.

I used to go to LSU games often. (Before A&M was in the SEC)
I'd wear an LSU shirt and an A&M hat + my Aggie ring that never comes off.
I never had a bad time.
I wouldn't do that now.
When I go to McNeese games I wear McNeese apparel

went to the UF/FSU game in '94, and the USCe/UT game in '10. wore an auburn hat both times. no serious incidents to speak of, although at the UF/FSU game, when UF jumped to a big lead, i did point at my hat to some obnoxious gator fans in our section, and that seemed to do the trick to quiet 'em down a little (we beat 'em earlier that season in the swamp, dethroning their #1 ranking)....adding insult to injury, that game would become the infamous "choke at doak", so they couldn't wait to get the hell out of there

do you still wear your school colors?
If it is a regular game, no. Just go neutral. If it is a bowl game, tournament, world series etc, yes wear your colors.
