Unbelievable how many fluke things happened last year to get Auburn in the title game.

They were meant to not win the NC. They weren't that great of a team. Just lucky.

Probably the play where Johnny Manziel just threw the ball straight in the air and an A&M guy came down with it. Yeah, we won anyway but I was fricking furious.

Yep, in the SEC era, the 'Stoernover'.

A couple others though...

Miami, forget the year - Atwater intercepts in endzone instead of just knocking it down.

Texas '69 - Street to Paschall

Ohio State Sugar Bowl - just fall on the ball.

Florida - SEC championship game - Fish fumbled punt.

One more vote for the fake punt in the 2014 BCS title game.

Stoernover, Fish Fumble or Scoop and Score are the three obvious choices of my lifetime.

I would probably go Stoernover at the end of the day.

I'd move the Okie St fg against Iowa St in between the uprights instead of it going over the pole.. need to literally move it 3-4 inches

It would have changed cfb. We probably wouldn't have a playoff, mulligan bowl doesn't happen, and who knows what else.

That or the 2012 Craig Loston blown angle that let Bama come back to win. 2012 LSU should have beat the breaks off that Ba team.

First thing that comes to mind is Corey Broomfield's dropped pick six against AU in 2010

Any of the 4th down conversions by lsu on the final drive of the earthquake game. We would have smoked notre dame in the sugar bowl for Dye's second natty.

Keep telling yourself that. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity.

There's nothing but fat guys in the field. That is not luck, that is your coaching staff not being prepared.

Plus we would have won in OT, the score was tied.

I can think of one every season:

2013 - Nehemiah Hicks catches the Matt Joeckel pass on 3rd and goal from the Auburn 1.

2012 - Luke Joeckel doesn't commit a clipping penalty against LSU which wiped out the Malena TD. That puts A&M up 13-0 because Bertolet can't hit a PAT and later 16-0 after he makes the next FG.

2011 - Sherman runs the ball on 3rd and 2 against Kansas State and we run the clock out in Manhattan.

2010 - Sherman runs the ball late-4th against Oklahoma State setting up a Bullock try for the win instead of a Johnson INT.

2009 - Dustin Harris intercepts the Zac Robinson pass and runs it back for a TD instead of letting it slip through his hands.

2008 - Sherman runs the ball down Arkansas State's throat and wins 21-18.

2007 - There's not one play that would have salvaged that season.

2006 - Mark Dodge's interception isn't overturned against Texas Tech.

2005 - Dennis Franchione is fired immediately following the Iowa State game.

2004 - Baylor fails on the 2PC in overtime.

2003 - Dennis Franchione is never hired. Urban Meyer is hired

2002 - John Pierson makes the PAT vs. Texas Tech

2001 - Mark Farris doesn't fumble at the Colorado 38.

2000 - R.C. Slocum runs Ja'Mar Toombs up the middle and A&M beats Oklahoma 38-35, ending the run of Bob Stoops before it starts.

1999 - Ref doesn't call phantom holding on the 21-yard Bumgartner pass against Texas Tech.

1998 - Slocum goes for it on 4th down with 5 minutes left against Ohio State down 10.

1997 - No one play would have changed the season.

1996 - No one play would have changed the season.

1995 - Pullig doesn't throw the pick 6 to Zach Thomas.

1994 - Doesn't matter

1993 - Leeland catches the hook and ladder and beats Notre Dame.

1992 - One loss was a blowout.

Can't go back much further.
