There was an article when Maryland left the ACC and they stated at some point that Duke and North Carolina will leave the ACC and go into the SEC. The Article stated it had been worked out already and would just depend on when it happens. The purpose of Duke and North Carolina was to upgrade the SEC Basketball and did not have anything to do with Football. I do not have the article and did not think much about it when I read it.

The crown jewel is UVA. Would be an epic coup for the SEC. Virginia is one the nation's elite schools public or private.

Also grab NC State.

Being from North Carolina originally, I say screw the Tarholes. IF you're going to grab a School from NC it should be NCSU. And Virginia Tech

Having lived in VA for 12 years, screw the Hokies. They are more delusional than any fan base in the SEC.
Add UVA and UNC, adds greatly to basketball and baseball. Gets us closer to the SEC adding men's soccer. Not to mention, the academic addition too.

Since the United States is going to invade Texas this summer, after we take out command and control through the air, and stabilize the region with ground forces I suggest we add Baylor. Good coach, cool colors. Once all the terrorist have been put into FEMA death camps, I think that would be a wise choice.

If Florida State goes to the east we would be playing those peckerwoods every damn year. Go with someone like NC State. State and Misery would be a good rivalry every year.

Have you ever been to Iowa City
Iowa City is a pretty good campus town, However, the actual campus is pretty spread out and not a great campus.

I would never want Iowa to be in the SEC, and Indiana would be like adding another Kentucky type program to the SEC.

And to answer the topic, it would be Florida St and Texas.

If we HAD to add any team from Indiana, I would go with Purdue over Indiana. That's just because someone mentioned Indiana though.

Oklahoma and Clemson. One for each division. Both would fit in the SEC pretty well in most sports.

When Arkansas has a winning record against us in football or basketball, you can sound off cowboy. Until then, it's best you sit in the corner and thank the rest of us for letting you in the conference at all.

As far as Texas goes, if you don't believe us about how terrible it is to be in a conference with those assholes, ask Arkansas. Their program is poison.

Yet somehow a&m beat Texas 10 of 11 years and dominated the same conference for about a decade. Maybe you're too young to recall not that long ago...

Or how about a&m probably winning big 12 titles and playing in the playoff now that UT and OU are down the last couple of years (and continue to be).

Alas, you can continue to brag on your new conference and how upstanding and fair it is for the aggies. How you're rid of those meanies from Austin.

The ones whose most recent game consisted of getting blownout by the last place SEC West team?

That team and their coaching staff suck. We don't need to add cadaver programs like uTx... that's a big twen/SWC 2.0 thing.

Congrats on underselling your tier 3 rights and locking that in for 20 years, screwing all the other teams out of a conference network in the process.

Enjoy playing Iowa State and Kansas on your glorified closed circuit "network" while we play interesting and relevant games against teams in the best football conference in the country.

Texas was quite possibly the biggest loser of realignment. People are laughing at your senile former AD and his 'sliver' idiocy; the sliver now runs from Louisiana to New Mexico, and Texas is SEC country.
