re: If/when Blake Baker spurns LSU, does his decision say more about Mizzou or LSU?

Texas and Okie joining just relegated you coonasses to the second division.

It wasn’t that long ago that LSU beat Texas, Alabama, Georgia, & Oklahoma in the same year to go 15-0 and win the National Title. LSU will always be highly competitive in the SEC no matter who is added.

Baker to LSU was as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning if LSU wanted him. Like I posted earlier:

Missouri is not even on the same radar screen as LSU is as a program. If LSU wants him or anybody else off the Missouri staff, they’ll get them. Missouri is nothing more than a stepping-stone program and always will be. That’s just the facts.

Guess we won't ever have to find out, because Baker is coming home to the much more elite program.

These coaches allegiance is to their family and mainly their career but they go hand in hand. Baker has apparently made good decisions so far and this one seems to be another one. It can’t be easy to hurt so many feelings but that’s how business works and this is business.

This one’s gonna leave a mark, but no matter. This place has terrible takes all the time (usually to troll vs actual reality). This is but one drop in the ocean of stupidity known as the Rant.

It was not a smart OP...it opens it up for just this. Not smart at all.

A relatively obscure Baton Rouge sports podcaster on YouTube is reporting right now that Blake Baker has been hired as the DC for LSU. Take it for what it is worth.

We told your fans to get your checkbook out if you wanted to keep him. Baker about to become the highest paid assistant in CFB.

You shouldn’t feel bad about it. You have a good HC. Getting a guy hired away is better than having to fire him. I think we may owe you guys 950K in buyout money.
