Stop being a jackass. A team that doesnt lose a game deserves it over a team who lost two, one being their last game, the other being to a 2-7 team. You dont have to see those teams. And it was 1960, how many of those voters saw both teams? Maybe 5. Lawd UPI named Minnesota the 8-2 team the best team as well. They voted the same the majority of the time.

I am all for LSU dropping claim to 2004 if it means that OLE MISS has no claim on 1960. Because this is all about Ole Miss not being the best for 1 year in any of the Big 4.
A claim does not mean the best for the year.

Ole Miss was the 1960 National Champions in Football, not a BS Bama championship but a real one. Ole Miss was very good in that era.
It will only be State. They should have a baseball NC but were unlucky in their run. They had a team with Will Clark, Rapheal Palmerio, etc that was great
