Don't be that guy. He wasn't and you didn't. Take your L like a man, enjoy the fact that you were there, and move on

Auburn had a similar situation in the 2013 BCS Championship game with our usually reliable future NFL kicker not playing up to his standards due to being sick and it changed the course of the game. But you hardly ever see us mention it, because it just comes across as whiny.

Completely different. Sin isn't the equivalent of a qb, not a kicker

Wanted to see how the SEC was reacting to the great tournament performance.

I still don't understand why all athletes don't take things like flu shots. Are they a banned substance?

Receiving an influenza vaccine in no way guarantees that you will not get the flu. The CDC develops these vaccines based off what appears to be the strain that will be most active. These strains can, and do, mutate. You could receive 100 flu shots for 100 different strains prepping for an upcoming flu season and still end up sicker than those that opted not to be vaccinated at all.

It's really not because a missed FG that would have normally been made and a momentum changing KO return for a TD by FSU that normally would not have happened because our kicker had an insanely high rate of touchbacks and rarely had any kicks returned at all maje a HUGE difference in a game that came down to the final seconds.

Regardless, you are missing the point. The point isn't to compare Thornwell to a kicker, the point is that he was sick and you did lost and there's nothing you can do about it so don't be that guy and move on.

If everything went perfect for every team and everybody was always healthy and 100% then things would be a lot different and for all you know South Carolina would have never made it this far at all. It's a dumb excuse man.

... But how'd you even come across this shithole? Stumble across it while doing a google search for "tiger droppings"?

As proud as ever to be a Gamecock and a member of tSEC. Nothing...ever...will change those facts.

Oh for frick's sake...just saw a UNC sign that said, "Where's Dook?" Please whip their yankee carolina asses in the final, how about it? We helped their elitist asses get there by taking care of dook for them and if they win it all, they will be almost as insufferable as the taters are.

Not even close.

I thought about giving all the jr fans a thumbs up for a great run, but thankfully you and your vile attitude saved me from doing something I'd later regret.

Not surprising. Clemson fans cannot ever bring themselves to even admit that South Carolina has done anything successful in its history. We don't pull for you guys, but we acknowledge a great accomplishment when we see it.

We get to a Final Four and you have Tillman and SlowEasy trolling us, yet you say we have a vile attitude? Your fanbase's inability to even acknowledge our Final Four run as an accomplishment shows just how rustled and petty y'all are.

Hats off to the zags, but we almost won without our best player healthy. This would have been a different game with a healthy sin. The zags know it too
If Florida had Egbunu, they'd have been playing Gonzaga. Injuries/illnesses happen.

A Final Four is a big deal; Clemson hasn't done it, and I would love to see it happen one day.

I don't think any Clemson fans are "rustled" about it, though. It's a great achievement, but y'all didn't win anything. In five years, no one but jr fans will remember who was in the Final Four, and they'll parade it out every time a basketball discussion comes up, just as they do with the five in a row.

I won't try to troll and be an arse about it.

i mean...maybe. But you can say that very very many situations..

Bama would have beat Clemsno with Eddie Jackson and Bo Scarborough in.

Clemson would have beat bama prior your with thei CB and WR healthy

Patriots would have two more titles if Gronk wasn't hurt.

Golden State would have never won a title if Love and Irving were healthy two years ago

and on and on. Gonzaga is a very good team who may have been able to overcome all of that.

Didn't the giant Zag lumberjack sit for an extended period due to an eye poke (accidental)?

I think that evens out Sin.

Glad to see him gone TBH. Great player.

Agree. Thornwell was not well and his team mates knew it. They stepped it up and almost pulled it off. It's too bad he wasn't able to finish this season like he played all year.

Great effort by USCe.
