Hats off to the zags, but we almost won without our best player healthy. This would have been a different game with a healthy sin. The zags know it too

I think this is obvious, but part of fielding a championship team is having the depth to overcome these situations. I still don't understand why all athletes don't take things like flu shots. Are they a banned substance? Was the announcer mistaken when he claimed Thornwell had the flu?

No, they were correct. He had the flu. It just sucks because we lost by 4 with our best player at 70%. It would have been a completely different game.

So what about my other question? The flu shouldn't be debilitating to players these days. Are modern flu treatments banned? (iirc last time I had flu I had some sort of steroid shot) That's fricking stupid if so.
