If the SEC decided to add 4 more schools, which 4 would you want?

Personally, I’d like to see
1. Virginia
2. North Carolina
3. Miami
4. Duke

All 4 are not just a one sport school. Virginia, North Carolina, and Duke are good in basketball and baseball. Miami too as of late. Geographically, it would add new markets to the SEC that aren’t currently in play.

Why Miami over Florida State? Because F@&$ Florida State. That’s why. Plus they have a smaller endowment than any current school in the SEC. And Clemson is just a stepchild that has pet rocks.

are not a good fit as they think they are superior academically

I think the best fits are Florida St, Clemson and if you want two new markets - NC State and Va Tech

I’d prefer to go back to the original twelve.

Stop expanding. Nothing good will come of having 18 or 20 schools. Let the Big Ten+ make that mistake.

Please not Miami or Duke.

Definitely North Carolina and Notre Dame (if you could get them). Not sold on anyone past those two.
