NASCAR and this is why.

Pro NASCAR drivers don't really dislike each other, so they might bump and grind but are still not trying to kill each other. College students however might actively try and turn an event into a destruction derby at 200 MPH. Alabama and Auburn students who actively HATE each other?

Yeah it's stupid, psychotic and can obviously never happen, but frick it if it wouldn't be awesome to watch.

Rowing or

...Bass Fishing. But Rowing for real. Plenty of nice, slow-rolling rivers in the South, many of which provide natural boundaries between SEC states. Great sport with great potential venues.

Adding another men's sport would lead to the addition of another girls' sport. Beach volley ball and a bikini team should do the trick.

The finish would be like this for both:

1: UF
2: UG
3: OM
4: Bama
5: LSU
6: Auburn (could be higher) they have some of those dumb hotties
7: USC
8: aTm
9: UK
t10: Arky, Vandy Mizz
13: UT
14: MSU

I vote for Men's Soccer because I like the World Cup and I think it would benefit our national team with more development of the players.

Soccer.

Good players don't play college soccer these days, though. It would likely have zero effect on the national team.

Wrestling. Mizzou is currently #2 in the nation.

Men's soccer a distance second. Mizzou would own the SEC with all the StL and KC recruits.
