Does Charlie Strong stay? Would Texas go after Hugh Freeze, Kirby Smart, or Nick Saban again? By then I would assume they won't have a retard as their athletic director.

Saban and Malzahn are washed up. Hugh Freeze is the obvious choice. Kirby Smart... LULZ.

They'll get Justin Fluente since the rest of the coaches in the world realize Texas is a joke of a program now.

They're still paying Mack Brown plus Charlie Strong's buyout from Louisville. And now they're buying out their athletic director.

Hard to believe they're gonna turn around a buy out Strong's contract at Texas, plus whatever a new coach would cost them.

Despite more revenue than any other program, they're operating in the red already.

They're stuck with him for a bit.

Who gives a frick what Kelly said?

If he gets fired at Philly and there's a head coaching job available at a decent school for the right price, he'll be coaching in college again.

Few things are as worthless as what comes out of a coach's mouth.

Hugh Freeze is a more proven winner than Charlie Strong

A booster or two could wipe that debt out with the stroke of a pen if they so choose

If he goes 4-8 he is probably okay. If there are some beatdowns in there it gets interesting.

If he goes 3-9 then there is a good chance he is fired or forced out. Don't think they go 3-9 but if they do... anything can happen. Anything. A 3-9 season probably means their recruiting absolutely sucks and they could make a move.

Likely to go after Hugh Freeze, Chris Peterson or maybe someone like David Shaw (Stanford). I seriously doubt they go to NFL for a coach. They might also make a run at Gary Patterson at TCU. They didn't do it last time and a lot of them considered it a mistake.

If you believe what a coach says to the media, then I have some ocean front property you would love.

I suppose it's possible but you're talking millions of dollars just to cut their losses.

Rich people love every dollar more than their own souls. It's just hard to believe they'd be willing to fork over that kind of jack after only 2 seasons, to say nothing of "racist" allegations that would ensue, justified or not.

It'd be a political problem in addition to a financial one. And it would set a bad precedent.
