I'm just saying, after the long grudge match between Mississippi State and Alabama which lead to an injured Tyler Rusty and Dak Perkins(but hey, we managed to blacken a few eyes on Alabama's side as well), Our offense was extremely fatigued and not at 100%.
On defense, Jonathan Banks was still recovering from a knee injury from laying the hammer on Kenny Cooper a few times hence why he didn't go full house mode all over Joseph Football.
Next year, I can see Chris Jones seriously injuring Gerald Football since we don't have a tough game to play before hand(south carolina, lol).
EDIT: Not an alter, just a fan.

Kenny Cooper? You should be banned for life from the internet.

Ok, I'll bite. Let's just look at what actually happened in the game just to see how close it actually was. The reason for this is because I usually don't have thoughts like this unless the game was actually close. For instance, would LSU have beat Florida if they would have played Hill in this game? You see, we didn't really start playing him until the A&M game. We only lost to Florida by 8 points. So it seems not too crazy to think that with someone as great as Hill, we would have had a much better chance of winning. I don't think we would have, but at least at an 8 point difference, it's not crazy to think that.
Now let's look at your argument: Mississippi State lost 38-13 against Texas A&M. They were actually losing 24-0 at half. A&M had almost 700 yards of offense as compared to Miss. State's 310. Manziel destroyed your defense and you only had 1 turnover. Having looked at all of this, how exactly does it enter your mind that Miss. State could have beat A&M during any other point in the year? A&M only got better as the year went along, not worse. While you had just lost to Bama, it wasn't like that was a close game either. They beat you 38-7. The "Hangover" you are talking about doesn't really apply to teams that were just taken to the woodshed. If anything, teams that are destroyed the week before usually come out with some passion because of the embarrassment that they went through the prior game. Your team responded by getting blanked in the first half and allowing A&M to just absolutely dominate them. Good try at getting some sort of moral victory out of this one, but there is just no way that anyone could actually believe what you said.

It's like how LSU was hungover losing 21-0 that caused them to lose a few games this past season

Most of State's football team was still hungover from the Alabama game
Because it was so competitive?
