Coach O. Then we can fire him three years later after he got the recruits in.

At least Orgeron can set the team up for another coach to have success.

So you found one person that agreed with you to prove a point even though the first 6-7 people disagreed? yea...thats logical.

Croom was heralded as one of the best coaches in the SEC this time last year.

It's funny how things change so quickly.

That's the rule of thumb.

If you fire someone after 3 years, they better be a good recruiter.

O was this, although he failed miserably recruiting OL and DBs. Still, we have more talent on our roster now than we're used to having.

The SEC is all about "what have you done for me lately." I don't think any program besides Vandy and Kentucky give coaches enough time. Sure it's because they don't give a shite, but you know what I mean.

True, but I was just pointing out the extreme fall from grace Croom has gone through on this board.

Good point too about Croom at this time last year being considered one of the SEC's best coaches.

That's a tough one.

I know Croom's offense, etc isn't seen as great however he also had Miss St. talent playing in the SEC. They're historically bad for a reason. I think he might well with either more competitive talent or in a smaller conference.

I probably wouldn't want O as my head coach but he'd bring in talent.

But we had talent on the team after we fired him.
Crooms left yall with nothing.
I'd take what happened to us any day.

We would not have a chance to compete for an SEC West championship if it wasn't for Ed Orgeron.
