Yet it's on in primetime because ESPN thinks more people would watch it than the LSU -a&M game. That's kind of the point. Yes it's irrelevant this year in the standings, but it's still on in primetime. Rivalry.

If you think so, gump

You're wrong on this, and it will be shown by your shitty television numbers. An 11 am game will have more starting #s than your primetime game

In a nutshell, yes.

Doesn't mean ESPN knows for a fact more people will watch Bama rape UT. Just means that is the bet they have made based on the information they have.

1. That ESPN put LSU/A&M at 11 so it didn't conflict with Texas/Baylor ?

The cannibalism aspect is a halfway decent argument.

2. That CBS put a hold on A&M/LSU and SC/Florida, showing that LSU/A&M WAS in fact a higher priority than your shitty rivalry?

Assuming your facts are correct, this argument is far better.

My apologies, counselor. I now see where you were going with this. Carry on.

Because espn did not want a&m up against texas and Baylor on abc. Would have crushed their own ratings.

When we are leading at half-time, the whole country will tune in to watch the number 1 team in trouble, then late in the second half, Bama restores their dominance and skullfrick the Vols mercilessly. ESPN wins

why did ESPN put it on in primetime this weekend? Wouldn't it make more sense to choose the LSU-aTm matchup of top 20 teams?

Argument of an insecure simpleton.

Cause Bama needs the game hyped to validate their claim of preserving the game.

Probably because no one other than the fans of these two schools would watch the game if it wasn't in prime time. They have to do something to get people to watch either of these two teams!
