Not only that, Tennessee swears up and down how they are the 2nd best sec program of alltime, when most of their accomplishments were before 1970. Tennessee has 5 sec titles in the last 45 years.

I would actually think if teams know all they need to make the playoffs, is win your conference, they wouldn't be scared of an OOC loss, and might challenge themselves more OOC.
