Georgia Tech, Tulane, and Clemson.
Gives UGA, LSU,and South Carolina instate rivals. GT, and Tulane would give the SEC more schools other than Vandy to be "nerd schools".

I like mizzou and wish people would leave them alone...but if thye were to leave on their own, I would rather have Duke. Good academics and basketball, along with decent football.

Clemson, frick tv markets and get a real team. While we are at it let's get rid of Aggy and bring in some better competition from Texas, maybe UTSA.

Does this rumor have any teeth?

I really hope it does.

If so, I would say UNC or NC STATE, to put the footprint in a truly southern state.

No school would ever leave the sec. This is as good as it gets.

Thanks, and we aren't going anywhere. These threads are just stupid. Although if we could go back to our rightful place which is the old Big 8, I would do it in a heartbeat, but it's not feasible.

You are going to see Conferences going after TV Markets ahead of regional imaginary borderlines. The SEC had the right idea, except they isolated Missouri by putting them in the East.

Someone that would up the conference's academic profile.

There has to be several community colleges in the area that would do the job nicely
