Their schedule is really weak, they'd drop the 3 games against good teams and find a way to lose another along the way.

I honestly believe they wouldn't come close to Alabama either way. They'll score points, but Alabama would win a shoot out with A&M. But it wouldn't get to that point, because by then, they'll already be down 3 TDs anyway

I certainly see 7-8 wins if Manziel isn't there but starting a FS who had no chance of playing this season to suddenly being a starter a month out is unpredictable and if that QB turns out to be a serious dud it could be a rough year.
With that said A&M still has plenty of talent so 8-9 wins I don't think is entirely unreasonable. Perhaps another trip to the Cotton Bowl based on how the West turns out.
