No. LSU is basically unmeltable the rest of the season. If they lose, "oh well, we'll have a new coach next year". If they win, "woohoo!" They won't exactly turn on Coach O, they will simply not hire him for next year. If Coach O turns them around to the point they actually win the west, then and only then, will they consider hiring him.The only thing I see really upsetting LSU to the point they might have a melt this year, is an unpopular coaching hire.

Plenty of fans at the game said differently.

We are literally playing with house money. It doesn't matter what happens the rest of this year. Win every game and you throw the fricking checkbook at O. Lose every game and you throw the checkbook at someone else. Either way the melts are done this year.

It will go like last week. People will wonder based on crowd noise if they just turned on Sunday Golf or a football game.

He is a Tennessee fan. We may suck at football but we aren't that stupid.

Good luck. You know the Tigers relish beating Florida and have spanked you boys pretty reliably lately. It just as easily could galvanize support and affection for Coach O.

I know you read the rant and think you know something. but nobody expects O to win out. NOBODY.

He will get us ready for the next era of LSU and i hope he stays in some capacity, but he isn't our savior and nobody expects that.

For future reference, Serraneaux isn't a Gator fan, he is a Tennessee fan that is ashamed to use the T as his sig.

No I'm behind the staff and team the rest of the year no matter what happens. Going to be a very interesting next two months. I wouldn't be surprised if LSU made a run this year but I'm not expecting it.

I will enjoy either outcome. If LSU loses then that's good to see before the hire Coach Oeaux movement gets too strong - plus the melt on TD will be fun. If LSU wins then I always like that - plus there are some very petty gators around here who will be pretty funny to watch.

Losing to Tenn and LSU consecutively would lead to some grumpy gators.

We haven't beaten Florida four times in a row since 1980. This is no given. Florida has the nastiest looking defense in the conference at the moment. This will most likely be a four quarter slugfest.

Worry about your own weak offense this weekend, and....yiu will not win the East
