The entire summer after Bama won the 2009 BCSNC, LSU fans wanted to kick Miles arse to the curb. A large portion were in at a fever pitch of hatred for that man. The local and national media piled on with the LSU fans.
This is just objectively false. At any rate, no one takes Alabama fans lecturing others about being reasonable seriously.

No because he's doing it with Saban's players. Haven't you heard?

This is an exaggeration tbh. The Tiger Rant doesn't constitute the majority of LSU fans.

People wanted Mallveto gone after 08.

Some of LSU's fanbase perfect season would go like this.

1) Bench the starting quarterback after his first interception

2) Go undefeated.

3) Skulldrag Alabama 62-0.

4) Win National Championship.

5) Fire Head Coach.

I don't think they lose four and I don't think they beat Alabama.

Depends on if we get beat like a drum in those 5 losses and who those losses are against. Also have to factor in injuries. Just thinking logical here.

In 08, we were on a 4th qb at the end of the year. Not many SEC teams can win with their second let along third or fourth qb's.

Perilloux was going to be our started and got kicked off. Andrew Hatch, as QB from Harvard, got injured in the Auburn game and was replaced by RS FR Jarrett Lee. He played thru the Ole Miss game and was replaced by True Freshman Jordan Jefferson.

We've seen LSU fans who more resemble Jekyll and Hyde in terms of the way the feel about Les Miles. When he's winning big games and capitalizing on big gambles they love him. When he's losing to teams like Ole Miss and getting drummed 21-0 by Alabama - they hate him and want him fired.

That's what happens when you have a large, diverse fan base - differences of opinion.

and long term I think A&M has more upside than LSU. Hopefully that'll spawn a nice rivalry.

How much more upside does that give them than Auburn, then?

Winning big games is awesome, losing to less talented teams or getting blown out by a team we already beat is not.

Crazy I know

I've predicted they lose 4 and beat Alabama. I'm with you on this.

Man, all we need is Peej to say it too and we'll end up winning them all except Bama.

Saban will just blame Bama fans for the loss.

And they will take full responsibility for it.

They will kill other fans and apologize to Saban. This will give them the connection to the program they deserve.
