Even with the NC's....you let Saban tank another late season or lose to AU 3 times and see what happens with the fanatical Gump fanbase.

Oh and ty for the space in your head.

Signed,
LSU

I'm sorry Phil, I'm not trying to make you guys laugh or enrage you, I just think LSU is in for a long year with a pretty upsetting ending.

As for the A&M game, I think it really kicks off A&M's 2015 campaign, which will be formidable, and long term I think A&M has more upside than LSU. Hopefully that'll spawn a nice rivalry.

This is about the 5th "is Miles on the hot seat" thread started by a bama poster in the past week. Give it up already.

How long term are we talking, about 250 years?
What makes you think they have more upside? Thier better recuiting classes or recent success against LSU?

Retarded comments always laugh..

I don't see it that way.. LSU may lose at most 3 this year... And by the time LSU plays A&M they'll be a whole lot more seasoned and could lose yes..blownout..No . A&M's D just isn't going to be good enough..

Have these three things been true the past 100 years? They don't hold a better overall record or more all time wins than LSU even tho they have played 9 more games. I don't think these three things help in football and BR > College Station

IF LSU loses 5 games, but beats Alabama - do the fans stay off Miles' back?

We've seen LSU fans who more resemble Jekyll and Hyde in terms of the way the feel about Les Miles.

When he's winning big games and capitalizing on big gambles they love him.

When he's losing to teams like Ole Miss and getting drummed 21-0 by Alabama - they hate him and want him fired.

How do they react if they lose 5 games this year, but still manage to get the Bama monkey off their backs?

I think you're talking about a very miniscule segment of LSU fans who have wanted Miles fired.
Are you serious ??? Miles is the 2nd winningest coach in CFB in the last decade...

By your logic, allllllllllll LSU fans have loved Miles 95 times and hated him 24 times with no in between. That is not a very accurate demographic random sample - 100% of a population.

Though Miles is 3-5 vs Saban, all but 2 of those 8 games were extremely competitive and close or came down to the final minutes. Even in last year's game, the game was tied at 17-17 until the inevitable ususal shitty call against LSU (an absolutely phantom PI call) that gave Bama the momentum.

As for your question -
It is extremely doubtful that LSU will lose 5 games and beat Alabama in the same season. So your fantasy is without merit IMO.
In fact Miles has lost more than 3 games only TWO times in his 9 years in Baton Rouge.
In fact, I think it is much more plausible that Miles will lose 1 or 2 games but beat Alabama.

Although we didn't play well this doesn't get mentioned enough. It was a terrible call.

I see you were on this board during the '08-'09 season.

The entire summer after Bama won the 2009 BCSNC, LSU fans wanted to kick Miles arse to the curb. A large portion were in at a fever pitch of hatred for that man. The local and national media piled on with the LSU fans.

I remember Les in a press conference in Oct 2010 after beating Florida saying, "well I wonder if the fans will like us now that we are 6-0?" Poor fella, he's the winningest coach in school history and is so unappreciated.

That was in response to the pollsters not fans. We dropped 2 spots in the polls after the Tennessee fiasco.

Get your facts straight.
