Troll over. What's happened with Harbaugh? I thought he was doing great with SF.

I don't ever watch the NFL.

Jim Harbough and that would be f-ing scary.

This is who I would want, but I just don't see it happening. Maybe if the rumors are true about him losing the team in San Francisco, but even if that is true he is just as likely to get hired on at another NFL gig (Cowboys?).

Some names in NCAA I'd be interested in (in no particular order):

Art Briles
Mark Hudspeth
David Cutcliffe
Larry Fedora
Chad Morris

Almost everyone inside the organization hates him and he's losing control of the locker room.

I attend ULL games and he is really struggling this year. He has turned the program around and is a great motivator but struggles with the X's and O's

From what I understand he wants total control and is high maintenance..he also is in a contract year and is going to demand a shite ton of money in the off season. As for the locker room deal, I have no idea but that's what they keep saying on the NFL network

He's kind of a douche and like Saban, is a control freak. He rubs the higher ups the wrong way and if the team starts losing, they'll get tired of his shite. At least that is what the rumors are. The same shite was swirling early last season too.

If being an a-hole works, people will tolerate it (see Nick Saban). If being an a-hole isn't working, people will turn on you.

Yeah, his name has been thrown around the last few years as one of the up and coming guys at a smaller school, but when I saw his record this year I second guessed putting him on that list. He's played at Ole Miss and at Boise St this year, so his record is really 1-1. Maybe at LSU he can get some bigger name coordinators and position coaches.

I'd prefer a bigger name, but getting the big fish to jump ponds might not be easy and he's an option if LSU chooses to go with an "unproven" coach from a smaller school.

If Harbaugh were to be on the market I'm pretty sure Michigan would do everything they could to get him instead of Miles. They didn't even offer Miles the job during some of his best years. Unless UM can't get a Gruden or a Harbaugh they won't offer MIles.

Miles isn't leaving LSU unless they run his arse off anyway. Contrary to popular belief..he loves it here and 1 bad season and the fans hating him isn't going to change that. If he didn't leave after the 08-09 years, he isn't ever leaving until he retires or gets fired.

Truthfully I hope Les Miles is at LSU for a long time.

I can understand why you would say that.

I think he also comes with a $15mil buyout this year (after next year it drops to around $8mil IIRC.)

There was a black caller on local radio a few days ago who went off on our broadcast team about how insulting it is that LSU doesn't have a black coach...LSU hires Croom to please him
