Not as retarded as someone who would create a UConn alter on Friday. But welcome anyway new definitely not an alter account Art Clokey. Maybe you can create some original GIFs, this place has been lacking in that department for a while.

It’s at least top 3. Hard to argue otherwise.

I have said that Kentucky is a top ten job and probably top five in this thread.

I just think it is SEC bias to automatically claim it is THE top job in college basketball and one that every coach in America wants.

Why have their last three coaching hires been Tubby Smith, Billy Gillespie, and John Calipari?

2 of 3 won Natty's at UK

Duke

All have benefitted from the rise and power of ESPN

Billy FudgePacker was the UNC shill
Dookie V started as the Wolfpack shill, then switched to Dook
UConn (men & women) did not exist till ESPN started in Bristol, CT
Had a long chat wit Pat Summit before alzeheimners took hold and she was spot on about ESPN's undue influence on teams / conferences success as they gained power

My point was that if Kentucky really is the top job, why have they not hired more established big name coaches their last three hires. Instead, Kentucky hired a a coach that was previously at Tulsa and Georgia, then one that was at UTEP and Texas A&M, and then one that was at UMass and Memphis.
talkin bout hiring established big name coaches -

Karen Deboar
Nick Saban
Mike Shula
Mike 'titty bar' Price
Dennis Franchione
Mike Debose
Gene Stallings
Bill Curry
Ray Perkins

3 outta your last 8 bammer - and Perkins is a gifted acknowledgement with his 23-34 NFL record w NYG - Sallings & Saban really y'alls only 2 that carried any true success after Bear quit -

Kentucky basketball has always been and will always be a better job than Alabama football -

Obviously this coaching search will prove that.

I wonder if anyone’s mind has changed about Kentucky being the top program and top job in college basketball over the last few days?

Man, I got the hell beat out of me in this thread.

It will be interesting to see how the Kentucky search goes. Many here have suggested that Kentucky can pick whoever they want. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Again though, if Kentucky is the best job in basketball, why would they settle for Mark Pope?

Even Bama's bad coaches had success. Dubose won an SEC title...Fran won 10 games and shut Saban out at Tiger Stadium. Shula won 10 games. They weren't great but never sank to Tennessee type level.

Is Kentucky really still the top job? It so why have they not hired better coaches their last three tries? And why will this time be different?

Can we get a roll call for the 39 people that downvoted this? Or the three that upvoted it?
