Auburn will not get the death penalty. They will more than likely vacate games that Cam played in since it will be determined he was ineligible. On a side note, unless there is also proof that AU did indeed pay in any form for Cams' signature, they probably will not get probation.

IMHO, we need to sit back and let this thing fully unfold. There are quite a few different issues involved. 1) Did Cam or his father agree to a pay-for-play type of deal during the initial phase of choosing a school? 2) Even if it is determined that Cam was shopped around, is there any actual proof the AU paid for his services? 3) If AU did not pay for his services, was there anyone involved on AU's part that even knew about Cam being shopped around?

There is probably more info that the NCAA has that the public does not know. I hope that this turns out to be false for AU. Cam may have done wrong at UF but I don't think that the kid deserves to be put in the current position he's in. Even if this proves to be true, it seems that his father is more to blame. As a parent you are suppose to lead by example and protect your children. It seems that Cecil was the one making decisions about his sons future. Seriously, who really thinks that a young man in Cam's shoes wouldn't have made the same decisions if his father was pushing for it? It's easy to sit back and judge others.

Michigan's on probation. Doesn't mean too much. Scholarship reductions would be what ruins the Auburn program.
