Oregon is one of the best teams in the country. Their #3 seed is unwarranted, and their complete domination of Kansas proves their true worth.

That said, the Cocks are playing the best basketball of any team in the country since the 2nd half of the Marquette game, particularly on defense. I really think if both teams win their semifinals South Carolina has a slight advantage in such a championship matchup

I agree and wish the Gamecocks good luck the rest of the way. But I was really just wondering if the duck could beat the chicken.

Well, since the transitive property always works in basketball, just like in football, we have to look at common opponents.

Oregon beat Alabama. Alabama beat South Carolina twice.

Oregon would be your champion.

Also, how the hell did USC lose to UA twice?

AU swept Bama. Bama beat South Carolina twice. South Carolina killed AU.

Does transitive property say that South Carolina sucks or that AU is Final Four?

I think the duck with it's wide wing span and ability to fly could win. The chicken has it's talons and spiked beak but they can't really fly that far. It's a toss up.
