Because they signed a letter of intent with LSU, that's why!!

Their letter of intent did not say "I pledge allegiance to Les Miles". They play for LSU, not Les Miles. Last I checked that Jersey says "LSU".

This mentality is what is wrong with people. "Oh, they did something I don't like, let me quit."

No, get the frick out of here with that shite. Man up, and play the fricking game. What the frick are they going to do IF they go pro? Coaches get fired all the time. Can't just decide you want to be traded everytime something doesn't go your way.

Last I heard a team can yank a scholly each year if they want. A player has no guarantee that the scholly will get renewed. Amirite?

It goes both ways. Isn't that what Bama does. Even over signs and then tells players tough shite.

Either way I'm not trying to argue but I do think it sucks a bit.

Yeah, just like the players can change their minds a million times during recruiting.

No one is saying they can't transfer. I certainly am not.

What I said is it is chicken shite to leave because a coach got fired. They are going to deal with this at the next level (if their fragile little psyches don't prevent them from getting there), so they need to man up and deal with it.

I'm not going to quit my job tomorrow because my boss gets fired. How many people would do that?
