Seems sad to me that the kids will miss out on the postseason just because the state/school is poor.

It can't hurt. LSU is already claiming a tax deduction for its NIT bid donation to Alabama. It looks like the savings may be enough to fire Johnny and bring Avery home.

JJ said he wouldn't coach this group of players at the local playground. And YOU want to send them to NYC? Nah...I would rather my money go to the champs of the BR three on three tourney. Much more exciting basketball played by better athletes.

Part of me wishes they were playing in the NIT but I'm having trouble seeing the benefit of doing that. This team doesn't give a flying frick so whats the good in playing the tournament they never want to play in?
