If head-to-head isn't the determining factor, then how is it reasonable to accept head-to-head as the determining factor (in the playoffs).

Jesus effing christ, now you're just being stupid. You're still here pushing this bullshite? Let it go already. Everyone else (at least with an IQ north of a turnip) is perfectly capable of grasping the fact that head to head is ONE important factor, not the only important factor, in whittling a group of 128 down to a group of four to play in a tournament. Then it's a single elimination tournament. Grow a couple of brain cells already. Your question in your OP has already been answered multiple times. We get it...you don't agree. Who the frick cares?

What if, and it's a huge if, everything falls just right and LSU wins the West, and then the SEC. The committee could use then leave the SEC champ out of the playoffs because of two bad early season losses, even though 1 or 2 of the teams that get in wouldn't have near the quality wins that LSU would at that point.

If Bama can't make it I hope this happens just to see the posts on this site.

And what is the IQ of someone who accepts a system that determines its champion by head-to-head, when they've made it crystal clear that head-to-head isn't a determining factor?
