Your answer can be found in this story. God provided college colors. He first gave N Dame green and gold and explained it was for the green fields and golden flowers. He then gave Auburn orange and blue and explained it was the beautiful southern sunsets. He gave Alabama Red and White without explanation. When asked, He said isn't it obvious, it is for Rednecks and white trash.

Les Miles and Nick Saban both died and went to heaven. Peter is showing them the golf courses and they run into the Ol' Ball Coach. As they're walking, they see a nice place with an Alabama flag hanging out front, Pete says "Nick, there you are, it's all furnished with a pool in the back." Across the street is an equally nice place with an LSU flag out front. Les says "lemme guess, that's my place?" St Peter says "yep," with all the grass you can eat. They can't help but admire this huge palace on the hill, with two big A&M flags out front. Les says, "damn that Kevin Sumlin, what did he do to get that?" St Pete shakes his head and Nick pipes up, "Must be RC's then, that 93 wrecking crew was the best defense in college football history." St Pete says, "wrong again, that's where God lives, fellas."

It's pretty clear Auburn is the Devil's team, it explains why they can have a great season every now and then but can't string 2 of them together.

God clearly doesn't give a rat's arse about football. If he did, he wouldn't have allowed Satan to win championships!
