retaliation for trying to drive his shoulder into Murray after the play.

What? At that point there had been no illegal or late hits by Fairley.

legal hits can still be dirty and cheap.

an example is trying to drive your shoulder into a downed player when the tackle has been made and/or the play is over.

It's completely legal, but dirty and cheap as hell

It's legal to hit a guy when he is on the ground and the play is over?

I would honestly deck someone in their fricking teeth if they celebrated this. You dont justify a late hit with ending someones career.

If the tackle/take down was already initiated while the play was on?

Yup.

So what are you saying? It's legal to land on a guy after you tackle him but that it's dirty?

I guess we just disagree on what dirty is. I don't consider that dirty at all. If you are strong enough to get a guy in a position where you can land on him and inflict punishment that's exactly what you should do. I think almost any defensive coordinator would agree.

I'll give you another example, for the sake of comparison:

When I played basketball in High School, it was perfectly legal to low bridge guys.

But it was considered very dirty. . .so much so that most all would refrain from doing so.

Horse-Collar tackles were dirty, even when they were legal.

You want him to stop ? Have an Alabame defender tell Cam in pre-game warm ups "If Fairley hits any of our players late, expect the same to come YOUR way".

Let Cam control him, OR ELSE !!!

Fairley is an animal. Look how timid Trooper looked when approaching him.

Cam can't control that animal.

Actually, since Fairley likes to spear with his head when he tackles, any football coach could tell you that a very real possibility would be that he breaks his neck and has to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. It would be pretty hard for to blame anyone but Fairley himself if that happens.

Wouldn't that be some karma?

Plenty of attention has been called to Fairley's propensity to spear. The hit on the UGA QB where Fairley speared him in the back well after the pass was away was one of the most flagrant I have ever seen.

Be advised of this: If Fairley, through his own stupidity and viciousness breaks his own neck and ends up a quadriplegic, he will find no sympathy from any fan base in the country. He will have gotten exactly what he deserves.
