You do realize Auburn gave you two fumbles as well, right? Both of which were in Auburn territory?

Yes I do ... and I'm not taking a thing away from Auburn in that game because obviously, as proved in the SECCG, Auburn was the better team before all was said and done.

But the two forced fumbles on Auburn were just vicious hits. The two by Garcia were stripped balls because he did not secure the ball and was trying to do too much. Big difference - Garica's two fumbles in the fourth were bonehead fumbles. One of them, if I remember correctly, turned into an Auburn TD on a long Cam run.

Come to think of it I think you are right.

And then the final play of the game. We were sitting on the Auburn side six rows up right behind the Auburn bench. Spurrier finally gets tired of Garcia's bullshite and yanks him in favor of Shaw. Shaw comes in and gets as bad call from the bench for the interception across the middle ... that call pissed me off. But our D holds and we get the ball back and drive down to the 20 something maybe? 3rd and 8 and we go to the endzone to Alshon and the Auburn DB makes a helluva play and knocks the ball out of Alshon's hands from behind and another Auburn DB is laying on his back in the endzone and the ball drops right in his hands ... game over.

The whole game as back and forth, one of the most exciting games I had seen in awhile - but we had our chances and blew it. Meanwhile, Cam just had a helluva game. The guy was butter running the ball on third and long all night. We could not contain him.

I understand that Auburn had a good D-line and a ton of experience, but I firmly believe Cam Newton carried that team.

Their O-line was stacked with seniors. That helps.

USC will be in contention for the national title this year. I firmly believe that.

Agreed

For all the talk of Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU, I think the teams with the easiest paths are South Carolina and Clemson...that game is going to be HUGE

not only that, but you have Clemson-Georgia right off, and then South Carolina-Georgia after that!!!!

Georgia really goes through the gauntlet early on

I never understood how a player that loses two games at home can be considered the greatest anything.
