This is just my opinion. Mizzou just does not fit in well in the SEC. They don't feel like an SEC team(whatever that means) nor do I really think of them as an SEC team. I thought I would say the same thing about A&M but they really do feel like they belong.

Because the Illini and Huskers don't bitch and whine "oh noes, injuries, sand in our vag, no fair, we demand a do over" when they lose to us like Georgia and Florida do.
And none of the irrelevant Big Ten teams run around thinking they are somehow relevant like Tennessee does.

I could see Kansas and OU go to the big 10 someday. Than the SEC Pac 12, ACC and Big 10 would battle it out for Longhorns
