It will be the 8th time UF vs Bama meet in the SECCG.

UF is up 4-3. The games are seldom close. 94 was 24-23 UF. Other wise its been one sided. I'd expect the same outcome this year.

UF will be in their 12 appearance and Alabama their 10th.

My thoughts? Upset UF!!

I reserve the right to change my pick at any moment.

Well this isn't necessarily true. 1992, 1994, and 2008 were all great games. And even the lopsided games were close until one team pulled away in the 4th quarter. The only SECCG I had zero hope of Alabama winning was 1996.

It felt weird playing UGA and Mizzou the last two times we've been there. Glad that you guys have turned things around.

First one was close as well, in '92; Bama won on a late pick 6, 28-21...

It was ironic how when the SECCG was first implemented, Spurrier hated it. By the end of his tenure at Florida, the SECCG was his favorite thing about the season.

You have a weird definition of "close".

Honestly I'm happy with the attitude change coach Mac has instilled in the team. We definitely need some Offensive lineman in the next recruiting season.

I think he's a great hire and hope we don't lose any assistant coaches in the off season.

But that UGA game was great. I just want to point that out since Missouri has kind of diluted the SEC-E brand in SECCG. We've fielded some very worthy teams even in years when we lost.

I was wrong. Most games actually have been close.

2008 was really close until late as well. Alabama had the lead going into the 4th quarter.

Nice job Gators. Bama/ LSU on west and UF on the east are the true divisional owners. Frauds like Missouri and UGA are there as Fillers for the gators. Looks like gators are back now to their rightful place.

Is there any way that Alabama does not win the West at this point?

Maybe somehow lose to Auburn and then Ole Miss gets in? There are some crazy rules for determining ties right?

Down to Ole Miss vs Alabama for the West.

Ole Miss has to beat LSU and MSU in back to back weeks AND Alabama has to lose to Auburn.

Possible, but unlikely.

Florida won multiple nattys in softball and gymnastics.... which were our things.

So prepare for payback in Atlanta. That's right, it's about to get petty!!

Florida is Alabama's kryptonite when it comes to sports that's not football. Can't even remember the last time Bama beat them in basketball, but god it's frustrating

Correct, Antonio Langham snagged it and ran into the end zone on the end of the Legion Field where my old man and I were sitting. Seat cushions were given away before the game. They all went flying. It was beautiful.

just about all we have left if their gymnastics team hasn't beaten us in Tuscaloosa since 1979.
