Listening to the Finebaum show today Finebaum made it sound like Georgia is the greatest team ever and Alabama is steps behind them.. What if Alabama went into the National Championship healthy like they did in the SEC championship and beat Georgia again.. Could you imagine Georgia fans after taking yet another loss to Alabama and Nick Saban? I am not one to make excuses, but it is fun to think about. Georgia deserves it, what Kirby has built in Athens has everyone in Tuscaloosa nervous.

Georgia was the better team all year last year. Get over it.

I never said they weren't. The season is a marathon and UGA had enough runners to seal the deal and Bama did not. But I am saying your boys seem a little slow on the backend of the defense. And eventually, somebody will expose it. Again. UGA had no answer for Williams for 5 quarters, when he went down. I see no reason to think that was going to change.

We have 5 quarters to go on, and one took the top off of the UGA defense 2 times, and when they double teamed him, Metchie went for nearly a hundred and a td. And you guys act like it is unreasonable to believe that the two players UGA had no answer for in a game, wouldn't make a difference in the second game. I mean, what the hell? Are you guys just sitting around listening to the media, thinking UGA is unbeatable?

All the other contenders had equal or better records. They were all conference champions, UGA was not. They all had better wins than Georgia did. There really would not have been a justification at that point for Georgia to have been anywhere but Bourbon Street. They caught a break, the first of many.

Your melty excuses get extra points for creativity.

I’m no UGA fan but defending a hypothetical to this length is about as sad as it gets. You lost the game. You didn’t have the depth at receiver to win. Too bad yall aren’t 2015 Ohio State who beat Bama with their 3rd string QB after their first two QBs got hurt so we wouldn’t have to listen to Ohio State fans bitch to the end of time about how they would’ve beat Bama with a healthy team. Jesus man grow some balls, y’all lost. Get over it.

Don’t flatter yourself. It’s not you, it’s your idiotic points. Not something to be proud of.

My points are from me, so it is me.

The play count proves NONE of their absences were fabricated.

The player count of Georgia players who were not healthy enough to play in the NC game was 2.

But, the discussion is the games between Bama and Georgia. Between those 2 Bama was clearly the better team.

Let's set the injury talk aside for a second. Is there anyone that can make a case for Georgia in the playoffs at all had Okie State made one more yard and scored to win their conference? Especially after what happened in Atlanta?

Couldn't the same be said about Alabama in 2011 and 2017?

Georgia fans like to talk loud and say they were in but...you were not.
If you stop playing "what if"...we were.

And yet we won the National Championship. Are you actually making the argument that Alabama should not have been in the title game/Playoffs in 2011 and 2017? I mean, Alabama did not win their conference in 2011 and did not win their own division in 2017.
I am pretty sure this is not the argument an Alabama fan wants to make.

think UGA's secondary is vulnerable to the deep ball.

Deep ball success requires exactly what we gave bama in game 1, and exactly what we didn’t give bama in game 2.

So when Georgia played auburn twice in 2017 and won 28-7 the second time, they should have carried over the yards and points from the previous fluke?

If you finally learned new things and made a good point, you wouldn’t get a response, so it’s all about what you post, rather than you. There is a difference.

Doesn’t matter. What does matter is The count of player absences was 6+.

Damn, how the hell did that happen? I guess Auburn was better than Georgia in 2017 since they won the first time. Hell, they even beat Bama, the eventual national champion! That must mean Auburn was the best team in 2017, even though they lost to UCF in their bowl game and two other times earlier in the season.
