If you're saying that Alabama should drop after this game then I hate to burst your bubble, but this is reminiscent of when Clemson should have dropped when they barely beat Troy...and then NC State. Ain't holding my breath for Alabama to drop.

We covered the spread on the road. I don't know why that would drop a team.

You do what you do to teams like USC, Ole Miss, Tennessee or Texas A&M and you're happy with that 10-0 showing? That type of showing for a team that before this game had scored 30+ points per game this whole season as well as the playoffs last season?

And for the record, I never said that Alabama should drop because of this game. I just think that it should be considered when ranking the top 25 along with every other ugly win out there. Alabama shouldn't get a sure pass just because they're Alabama and the defense played good and every team should be judged a bit by how they won their game, not just the W itself.

I'm not trying to down Bama or anything, they're honestly a phenomenal team. But this is the exact thing that should be avoided in the playoffs if you expect to win out.

Etling had his worst game against the best team, our OL didn't play well against the best DL/front seven in the country, it's not a moral victory it's a frickn lose for LSU BUT it WILL be the BEST game bama will play all year. That's all I'm saying. LSU can hang with bama and we proved that. Like I said 1 big play and we make that field goal and the game is 10-10. What's the big deal lol

You guys freak the hell out because it's the truth and for all the other teams fans jumping in here y'all got freakn slaughtered by bama so stfu. Arky, A&M, FL y'all will see who second best real freakn soon. Auburn your lucky you caught us while we still had Les frick all of you. It's the truth and y'all all know it. LSU still is one of the best in the country! Even with an average QB so y'all can all suck it. I talked to all of bama fans after the game and they said the same thing LSU is just as good but bama made a few more plays. Bama's D is GREAT but we ended that freakn streak of TDs off of D didn't we? Shut the frick up. I

I'm happy that we took a freshman QB to one of the hardest places to play and won. The crowd and defense were awesome so I think 10-0 is a good win.

Wtf are you talking about??? The score should have been closer and actually LSU should have won this game. With the field position battle alone! I'm not whining about anything bama was clearly the better team and won wtf is yalls problem? All I said was we are clearly one of the better teams in the country. What other teams defense could do that to LF or our offense??? NOONE!!!!

Fair enough. But I do think that the biggest stages are yet to come this season for Alabama. While it is impressive for Jalen to pull out the win, it was by the skin of their teeth. Imagine a hostile playoff game vs. a tougher team than LSU who has a more versatile offense. Can Jalen Hurts be able to respond well to that pressure? I think a performance like the one Saturday against LSU can make that a legitimate question.

I know Alabama fans have confidence in their team that's more durable than steel, so maybe this sounds like the ramblings of an outsider to y'all or something. Maybe I have to be an Alabama fan to understand it.

Auburn is going to get ran out the frickn stadium, the only thing Auburn matches LSU with is its DL and that's it. The rest of the schedule is about to find out that it was Miles not the players that sucked. We played our poorest offensive game of the year and not just because of bama's defense but we dropped balls we haven't been and missed throws we haven't missed since Etling started. The play calling was terrible also.

Tiger Stadium is the most hostile place he's going to play this season, especially at night. I also think LSU was the best defense they'll play this season. I think the kid did a good job. I was actually a bit more worried about Kiffin's play calling.

In order to beat bama you have to have a great OL, a great passing QB, and the threat to run. Along with a dominate D, we had that D and a run game but had zero pass game for what ever reason we didn't go back to the deep ball after it worked? I will never understand why we didn't roll DE out more of hit LF in the flats more?

This. Just cause we as LSU fans look at the Coach O era as a new season, doesn't excuse the fact that we lost to two inferior teams before that. Well, maybe not inferior, but teams we should have beaten. We are lucky to even be ranked right now.

Yeah. All of that starts to look bad when you rub intro a brick wall. And Hurts is just scratching the surface of his potential.

You're team got beat by a true freshman QB that sucks.

Also, he out rushed Leonard.

I didn't mean just the place, I meant the place along with the proper context. The stakes will be much higher there. Everything really gets put on the line there in the playoffs. I think for that reason the playoffs will most-likely be more of a nerve-wracking experience than Tiger Stadium, or at least matching it. But I get where you're coming from. It can be looked at from any direction. We won't know for sure until the playoffs happen.
