To prove a point that we weren't going to bend over and take it anymore by playing a "neutral site" game at what was virtually bama's home stadium 30 min from campus.

This is laughable coming from an Auburn fan whose university and athletic program was run by Bobby Lowder and his hand-selected BOT. Lowder ran AU with an iron fist and did whatever the frick he thought was best for AU. So why is PBJr. any different?
